PAUL WINSKELL

Paul’s career in the film and television industry spans more than 25 years. He began at Rogers Television where he produced and directed news magazine shows, entertainment shows, several live telethon productions, and numerous half hour dramas. Always one to take up new challenges, Paul also worked in front of the camera. In the 90’s he co-produced and directed a series with CBC British Columbia/Alberta called Variety Tonight. Paul has experience reporting, interviewing, researching, editing, and script writing. In 1994, he co-produced and directed a half hour drama/magazine show for CBC and has also produced and directed many short segments for Entertainment Tonight (ET), ESPN, Sport Channel America, CBC, PBS and Much Music.

Over the last 15 years Paul trained as an actor and has been a member of ACTRA and UBCP since 1997. He regularly appears on television and currently co-anchors pledge breaks for KCTS/PBS in Seattle. When he’s not busy behind or in front of the camera he can be found looking after the business affairs of Stoked Productions, a small company handling all aspects of video production including marketing; public relations; communications; and media consulting.
