Connect x Design Installation at Vancouver Design Week

May 9, 2018

Vancouver Design Week, the city’s official interdisciplinary design festival. Once more, the occasion will offer Vancouverites the chance to visit design studios, experience different design testing environments; and listen to speakers, branding specialists, and others working within the design industry at one of numerous talks.

“We’re all impacted by design every day and its impacts are never neutral—design either improves quality of life or hinders it for one or more,” said Jennifer Cutbill, board member of the Vancouver Design Foundation, the non-profit that operates VDW, in a media release. “By engaging and supporting local design talent, and by involving more people in articulating challenges and informing potentials, we can amplify the capacity of Vancouver design for even greater positive impact, locally and globally.”

CONNECT X Design

LaSalle College is the proud title sponsor for Connect X Design which is on Friday-Saturday, May 10th-11th from 1-6pm and Sunday, May 12 from 2-4pm at 800 Robson Street, Vancouver. Connect design impact to a positive potential, see how we’re connected by design each day, and connect to each other - as a community - to exchange ideas and to dream about what’s possible.
