‘’Dr. Dewling’s knowledge, expertise and leadership will strengthen our Vancouver operations.  He joins us at an opportune time in the College’s development with our recent acquisition of The Art Institute of Vancouver,’’ said Leslie “Skip” Triplett, Board Chair of LaSalle College Vancouver.

Based in Vancouver, Dr. Dewling will develop LCI’s Canadian western headquarters. He will oversee operations and future developments in Metro Vancouver and beyond, which include:

  • Growing Vancouver operations, including LaSalle College Vancouver with the goal of becoming the leading design school in western Canada, Canadian Second Language Institute (CSLI), a west coast language school, and LaSalle College Toronto, an e-learning institution;
  • Increasing student enrollment  for Vancouver and for member campuses of the LCI Education network with the support of the LCI Global Admissions team;
  • Strengthening relations with the creative industries that rely on LaSalle College Vancouver programs.

"I was drawn to LaSalle College Vancouver for some very compelling reasons.  It is a destination campus with unique and high quality education, it is located in a world class city, it is a member of a reputable global education network, and the people I met during the process were deeply passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of students," mentioned Dr. Jason Dewling.

Due to the acquisition of The Art Institute of Vancouver last February 1, 2017 and its renaming to LaSalle College Vancouver, Robin Hemmingsen, President of the former LCV, is now President of CSLI and a member of the Executive Committee at LaSalle College Vancouver.
