School To Study Game Design

March 29, 2016

The Art Institute of Vancouver is one of The Princeton Review’s "Top Schools to Study Game Design." The school was ranked sixth in the United States and held the top ranking for Canada. This marks the seventh consecutive year that The Art Institute of Vancouver has been ranked in the top 10.

The Art Institute of Vancouver offers programs in Game Art & Design (Diploma), Game Programming (Bachelor of Science), and Visual & Game Programming (Diploma).

The Princeton Review chose the schools for its 2016 list based on a comprehensive survey conducted in the previous academic year. Administrators at 150 institutions in the U.S., Canada, and abroad that offer video game design programs participated in the survey, which had more than 50 questions. The survey covered a wide range of topics including academics, faculty credentials, graduate employment, and graduate career achievements. The quality of curriculum, faculty, facilities, and infrastructure was also considered in the final results.
