Angela Adair is an interdisciplinary artist and instructor of art, craft, language, and academic skills, born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. Her creative practice includes metalwork, analog circuitry, studio photography, stop motion video, and traditional bead weaving. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, in Vancouver, Canada, in 2006. She spent 2010-2014 teaching a range of subjects for a number of schools in South Korea and Cambodia, while achieving a master’s degree online in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia.
Angela has been instrumental in developing the Jewellery Design department at LaSalle College Vancouver, where she currently teaches Beading, Transitional English, Fundamentals of Psychology, Organizational Psychology, and Cultural Theory. Angela is also currently appointed as Vice President of Vancouver Metal Arts Association, an artist-run organization that supports and promotes the art jewellery and metalsmithing communities in Vancouver through workshops, social events, artist lectures, and exhibitions.
