Our professors

With over 10 years of design experience, Ehsan has worked and led the design of many multi-million dollar projects ranging from 1,000 sqft to 40,000 sqft with brand names such as Arc’teryx, Muji, Paul Bakery, ABB, and many more. He works hand-in-hand with construction and consultant teams to deliver exceptional spaces to his clients. Even though Ehsan is active in both commercial and residential projects, he likes to focus mostly on the commercial sector, specifically the corporate, retail, and restaurant industries through his design firm ValiDesign. Working in construction companies throughout the years has provided him with an extensive knowledge of construction which helps both the construction teams and the clients to complete projects.

Ehsan completed his certificate of Interior Design at BCIT and later the Bachelor of Applied Design in Interior Design at LaSalle College Vancouver, formerly The Art Institute of Vancouver. He later advanced his management skills at BCIT with the Certificate of Project Management. Earlier in 2020, he successfully received his National Council for Interior Design Qualification and is now proudly NCIDQ certified.

With the mindset of giving back to the industry, an opportunity presented itself for Ehsan to become an instructor at LaSalle College Vancouver recently, which he gladly accepted the challenge. He now looks forward to sharing his expertise and knowledge of design with students at LaSalle College Vancouver.
