Originally from the east coast, Patrice Godin has spent nearly 30 year in theatrical costuming working from coast to coast with a major stop in Kamloops, where he occupied the position of Head of Wardrobe for the Western Canada Theatre Company as well as resident costume designer for 3 seasons. He receive a Tyron Guthrie award from the Stratford Shakespeare Festival for ongoing costume research and a nomination from the Jessie Richardson awards committee for Significant Artistic Achievement – Outstanding Costume Creation for Carousel Theatre’s production of “Siverwing”. Mr. Godin also has shared his love of sewing with a wider audience here in the lower mainland with a variety of workshops both privately and for CanNorth productions (Creative Festival) in tailoring, haute couture sewing and with a special interest in corset making.
