LCV alumni contributed to all 5 Oscar-nominated films for Best Visual Effects

LaSalle College Vancouver grads are no strangers to the Oscars, contributing to Oscar-winning and nominated movies year-after-year.

This year, LCV alumni from the Animation, 3D Modeling & VFX School had strong representation at the Oscars, and were part of all 5 teams nominated for Best VFX of 2020. The five nominated films were: 1917, Avengers: Endgame, The Irishman, The Lion King, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. World War I adventure ‘1917' won Best Visual Effects at this year's Oscars.
