LCV Alumni Contribute to Oscar-nominated films in Visual Effects and Animation!

LaSalle College Vancouver grads are no strangers to the Oscars, contributing to Oscar-winning and nominated movies year-after-year.

This year, LCV alumni from the Animation, 3D Modeling & VFX School had strong representation at the Oscars and were part of 6 films that nominated for Best VFX of 2021. The six nominated films were: Tenet, Soul, The Midnight Sky, Mulan, Onward, and Over the Moon. Two alumni worked on Tenet that won the Best Visual Effects award, and two other alumni worked on Soul that won the Best Animated Feature Film award at this year's Oscars!
