Our summer quarter kicked off to a fun start with a variety of activities scheduled throughout the week. It was filled with information as student advisors helped enlighten everyone about the student policies, academic expectations, and financial aid.
Students learned about financial aid programs available to them and got information of activities, important documents, and volunteer opportunities available on and off campus.
Program mixers were held allowing new students the opportunity to meet their program directors, faculty members and students. Also, CIBC who is a community partner, gave a workshop introducing their banking system and sharing some helpful budgeting tips.
Finally, a Library orientation was held where one of our Librarian spoke about the benefits of having a specialized library, and developing academic reading and writing skills.
Students received LCV passports on which they had to get their attended sessions stamped.
Oh, you surely want to see our new LCV passports for this quarter! Here is a sneak peek of it 😊
