We are excited to announce the release of its latest student-created project, Symphony of Souls, now available on gaming platform, Steam. This is a huge accomplishment for the 18 students involved in the project, who came from various programs including 3D Modelling, Animation Art & Design, Game Art & Design, Bachelor of Science in Game Programming, and Professional Recording Arts.
Symphony of Souls is a music-inspired single-player game set in the Greek Underworld. Players take on the role of Orpheus, an ancient Greek legend with superhuman musical skills. The soundtrack is complex and interactive, with puzzles that challenge players to move to the beat of the music.
This project is one of the largest collaborative student projects ever created at LCV. And the Symphony of Souls team is proud to bring this game to life, which took months of hard work, dedication and passion from these students. The Symphony of Souls team is excited to share their game with the public and to showcase the talent and skill of LCV students.
In celebration of this achievement, LaSalle College Vancouver hosted on-campus exclusive sneak peeks of Symphony of Souls, including a chance to play the game before its official release on June 19. The College sends a huge congratulations to all the students and faculty involved in this stunning project, and we are excited to see what the future holds for these talented individuals.
