LCV transitioning to online classes as of March 16th

March 15, 2020

Please read carefully this important communication with regard to the continuity of your studies.

The physical and psychological health and safety of our students and staff are of upmost importance, and out of an abundance of caution, we are taking the following steps effective immediately:

  1. On-campus classes will be suspended, starting Monday, March 16. However, our campus will remain open and accessible to students.
  2. All final exams and remaining assignments/ projects for the Winter quarter will be completed online and final assignments and exams will be done digitally.
  3. Most Spring quarter classes will be held online, and we will evaluate the use of our facilities in the coming days and weeks as the situation evolves. This distance learning is in place to ensure minimal disruption to students’ education.

We will be undertaking the following extra measure for those staff and students who are on campus:

  • All people entering the building must use the front doors and must wash their hands upon entering.
  • All people in the building are asked to maintain social distancing while in the building and follow the hygiene recommendations.

LaSalle College Vancouver is not aware of any presumptive or confirmed cases of COVID-19 among our students, faculty or staff at this time. All students should check their Omnivox to get the latest information regarding their individual classes.

LaSalle College Vancouver has been teaching online for many years and as a part of the LCI Education Network we draw on the strength of the work at Ellicom, an industry leading e-learning company to take our courses online.
