Five international member campuses represented

This Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW), several LaSalle College (LC) students from campuses around the world will be showcasing their collections on the Emerging Designers Night, Wednesday, September 17th at 4:00 p.m. at the Queen Elizabeth Plaza, 649 Cambie Street. This show will mark LC’s 10th consecutive season as a VFW partner. This year, additional talent from a selection of the College’s international network campuses - primarily Montréal, Casablanca, Jakarta and Barcelona - will be bringing their collections to the runway here in Vancouver. New this season, three selected Fashion Merchandising students from the Vancouver campus will be producing the fashion show.

Designers featured in the show include:

• LC Vancouver: Miona Nikolic, current student; Brit Wacher, alumna
• LC Montreal: Frédéric Joncas, Mathieu Joncas, Alex-Ève Martin, Ting Tang, Roberto Racanelli and Ashley Hjorleifson- finalists and winners of TELIO’s “Canada’s Breakthrough Designers” competition 2014
• LC Jakarta: Prisca Aninditya
• LC Casablanca: Othman Bouih, Wafaa Zili, Soukaina Mountassir, Rokia Nejjar, Khadija Adaha and Saadia Oudghiri
• FDModa - LCI Barcelona: Elisenda Oms Selva and Talia Baker, First Prize winners for the best collection at the Degree Show 2014 FDModa - LCI Barcelona; and Jon Mikeo, First Prize winner of the 22nd Hempel Award China International Fashion Designer Contest 2014.
