According to Creative BC, the motion picture industry contributed $3.4 billion to the BC economy.

According to Creative BC more then 60,00 skilled workers are working in different areas from technology to trades or the arts with more then an average income.

Over 200 B.C based producers and 250 local businesses take part with motion picture production including 65 film studios, 30 post- production companies, 100 animation and visual effect companies making BC the world largest visual effects cluster.
