This course introduces students to the history of games and covers the technologies, business models and game genres that have developed over time. Students will develop a written and verbal vocabulary for conducting research, game deconstruction and critical analysis of games. Learning Management System (LMS) is Moodle. This course utilizes an asynchronous mode of learning (ie other than forums, there is no set meeting time for the class. Students may access & complete course material at their own convenience).
