Students learn every aspect of environmental design – space, light, form, pattern, colour, lines and texture, whether their focus is on residential or commercial design. Students learn from industry-professionals and gain a deep understanding of rigorous, current industry requirements related to the interior design field.
Studying Interior Design at LaSalle College Vancouver will allow you walk away at graduation with designs that not only shine with creativity but also meet the most rigorous industry requirements. Graduates will have the option to pursue three career paths: residential, commercial, and institutional design.

The Bachelor of Applied Design in Interior Design provides a well-rounded curriculum strengthened with courses designed to prepare graduates to meet the current demands of the profession with the same equipment, software and technology used in the industry. The program explores universal design, human factors, environmental and sustainable design, and business aspects of the profession. Graduates of the Bachelor of Interior Design develop the technical and creative skills to design interior spaces that meet demanding requirements, not just aesthetically, but also related to safety, accessibility and sustainability.
