Our students visit Digital Domain Studios

Our students from our Animation, 3D Modeling and Visual Effects programs had their first introduction to the Visual Effects Industry with a tour of Digital Doman.

Digital Domain as contributed visual effects to films such as Titanic, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and recent blockbusters such as Furious 7 and Spider-Man. Their artists have won more than 100 major awards, including Academy Awards , Clios, BAFTA awards and Cannes Lions.

As Josie Anderson explains, these opportunities help nurture students' realistic expectations of the industry while setting the pace for their commitment and ambition to potentially become part of exciting film projects. It also helps LCV reach out and maintain relationships with studios who might very well be visiting and recruiting for talent at the school's portfolio show.
