Vancouver Fashion Week WF18 Runway

March 29, 2018

On March 22, for the 17th consecutive season, LaSalle College Vancouver presented a student designer show at Vancouver Fashion Week Winter/Fall 2018.

In preparation for the show, five of the talented student designers were tasked to think hard about sustainable textiles. They were given the mission statement: Rethink, Reuse, and Repurpose. Throughout the collections they were able to create with pieces of donated clothing and textiles scraps from Fabcycle. Our student designers who presented were Alannah Anderson (Manitoba), Daniela Franken Dominguez (Mexico), Gurkirat Narang (India), Azam Rezahosseini (Vancouver), and Shuo Yang (China).

The students featured in the show were selected among outstanding students from LCV’s fashion design program. They have put a lot of time and talent into their collections and their hard work and dedication showed on the runway.

This season’s show is once again produced by renowned stylist and fashion show producer Tracey Pincott, serving as Artistic Director, in collaboration with the beautiful Lizbell Agency models, who helped the students showcase their designs on the catwalk.
